"I'm huge a fan of Rahsaan Bahati, the bike racer but an even bigger fan of Rahsaan Bahati the motivator, who inspires youth to reach new heights,”. Upon hearing that Rahsaan Bahati would be racing in St. Louis, I immediately thought it would great if he could visit a school while here to share his story,” stated Christopher Miller, a STEM teacher at Bermuda
“I often spend time in schools speaking to students about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) topics, so, to have a world class athlete visit with these students and share his story definitely had a positive impact on them,”.
“By far this has been the best school visit I’ve had. Seeing the faces of the children as they walked into the auditorium really made my day,” stated international cyclist champion Bahati.
“I told my story of perseverance, dedication and will; by the end, the students were engaged and vowed to make the best of their lives,” added Bahati. He also acknowledged Miller and, Mike Weiss of the Gateway Cup for making it possible.
