Bahati Foundation Raises Funds for Youth by racing in Race Across America
Team Thin Energy/Bahati Foundation (Team TEBF) will participate in this years Race Across America (RAAM), the world’s toughest bike race. Team TEBF will race to raise funds for selected underprivileged youth in South Los Angeles while exposing them to essentials and the importance of financial literacy. Starting in Oceanside, under one of the longest piers in California, RAAM spans over 3000 miles, climbs 175,000 feet, crosses 12 states, and finishes at City Dock in Annapolis, Maryland, the east coast sailing mecca.
For 38 years, Race Across America (RAAM) has been challenging ultra cyclists from around the globe to push their physical and mental limits to the farthest reaches. Please join Team Thin Energy/Bahati Foundation with your heart and donations that will support opening personal bank accounts for community youth and establishing a base for their financial literacy. Team Thin Energy/Bahati Foundation goal is to raise 50 thousand dollars and donors can donate any amount of money per mile and get active on social media by posting #rideraam #ridefornewbankacount #teamtebfraam to say what needs to be said. Say it loud ‘financial literacy for our youth.’
