The Bahati Foundation with the generous support of Giant Bicycles and other community partners will GIVEBack to deserving community children through hosting a Bike Giveaway, Wellness Expo and #TeensHackingHealth Hackathon Challenge

The Bahati Foundation and its presenting partner Giant Bicycles with the local LA-based Methods To Winning Cycling LLC will host the 2nd Annual Bike Giveaway and Wellness Expo + #TeensHacking Health Challenge, Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 10 am - 4 pm. Hosted again in the historic Leimert Park Village “People’s Street” 43rd Place and Degnan Blvd., Los Angeles, 90008.

“The Wellness Expo is a new component added this year that will increase awareness around health, wellness and fitness speaks to our new focus initiative, ‘Motion Equals Healthy… With the success of last year’s event, our goal this year is to duplicate and enhance smiles on children’s faces and bring joy to their families,” said Rahsaan Bahati, Founder, and President, Bahati Foundation.

The deserving local students receiving new Giant bicycles, trees, toys, and other gifts are selected from The Bahati Foundation Adopt-A-School Program 2019. Again, we are proud to have Detectives from LAPD South Bureau Homicide Division in conjunction with Officers from 77th Division Community Relations Office as our partners who have pre-selected children faced with extreme hardships, to receive new bikes and gifts.

Key partners of this event include; Giant Bicycles, RideOn Bikes, Charles Drew University, UCLA Beloved Community Initiative, X-S.T.R.E.A.M. Interactive UCLA, Methods To Winning LLC, LAPD Southwest Division, Beyond ESports, The Lion, Abus, Penuel Bicycling, Western Dental, Propel eBikes, Zwift, and Penuel Bikes.
