GENESEO NY - The Durty Bikes Gravel Series p/b Van Bortel Ford is proud to announce that it’s summer gravel competition will benefit the Bahati Foundation. Located in Los Angeles,

California, the Bahati Foundation has spent 10 years “empowering young people by providing local schools with life skills programs that promote positive values, healthy habits, access to ed-tech and cycling – resulting in real-life power, on and off the bike.”

“For years we have talked about the lack of diversity in the sport of cycling,” said Tony Sylor, Durty Bikes Series Director. “The Bahati Foundation has spent 10 years doing rather than talking. I am proud to provide some modest support to that gigantic effort.”

Sam Patch Promotions, Inc. (owner of Durty Bikes Gravel Series) will donate $500 to the Bahati Foundation as well as all of the proceeds from the event t-shirt sales. Additionally, if 75 riders register to compete, Sam Patch Promotions, Inc. will donate a second $500 (and $500 more for every additional 50 riders beyond that).
